OSHA's HazCom Standard is one of its most frequently cited violations. This includes employee training, developing and implementing a HazCom program, maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels on shipped containers. In 2014 alone, there were more than 6,100 HazCom violations 1 .
In 2012, OSHA adopted the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) standards of chemical labeling and classification. This unified system provides a consistent method for hazard communication.
